My Hero, My Dad

A few months ago, my dad had an accident at his work, cutting two of his fingers off.
He told me a story of how he went to the doctors in Hobart a few weeks ago, and while he was waiting outside the hospital to be picked up he met a man. He was very nice and they talked for a while. My dad asked him why he was here and he said, " I have had lots of headaches these last couple of months and I was just coming to get a checkup. So they gave me a scan and found 7 brain tumors."
Even though my dad had a horrible accident, he said it felt like a scratch to him compared to the man with the 7 brain tumors.
From then on my dad told himself not to give up because he knows God is looking after him and this has happened for a reason.

2 Chronicles 15:7 "But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded."

Today my dad is going really well, gardening and getting a chicken coop out the back. He can stretch his hand a bit more each day and is about to start using a Dobro, a musical instrument used in country music.
My Dad is my hero, he amazes me each and every day and I'm so proud of him.
